Ruben’s Thai Rice Paper Wraps
12 Crab Sticks (cut in half lengthwise)
2 medium-sized carrots (finely shredded)
1 medium cucumber (finely shredded) [do not include seed-section]
1 cup shredded white cabbage1 cup shredded red cabbage
Pickled ginger (to taste) 1 cup finely chopped spring onions
12 sheets Rice Paper Wraps (obtainable from most Chinese supermarkets)
Method | Mix all the above ingredients together.
Place one wrap at a time into warm water for approximately 30 seconds, using a dinner plate.
Take wrap out, place on flat surface and put some of the veggie mix into wrap, fold sides in and roll up. Serve with the following sauce| 3 Tablespoons Soya Sauce | 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce | I Tablespoon Honey (can be substituted with brown sugar) | 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar | Finely chopped fresh chili to taste Mix all together.
